- 08-Jun-08 - 2008 Low Tide Ride & Stride the 8.2 mile course goes north along the ocean beachfront of the Silver Strand. The event is held at low tide on hard packed sand passing through Naval Amphibious Base beaches and in front of the beautiful Hotel del Coronado about 1 mile before the finish.

- 04-Jul-08 - 2008 Coronado Independence Day 15K / 5K Run starts in Tidelands Park, adjacent to the Coronado Bay Bridge, going along Glorietta Blvd past the golf course, yacht club and the Naval Amphibious Base.
