Discover the mystery of Russia on this 13 day / 12 night tour of Paris, St. Petersburg and Moscow, including air transportation, hotel accommodations and sightseeing.

Join running enthusiasts from around the world in the St. Petersburg Marathon & 10K.

PROGRAM PRICE INCLUDES:

  1. AIR TRANSPORTATION - Round-trip airfare on Air France from New York JFK to St. Petersburg, with 3-night stopover in Paris, returning from Moscow. Weekend departure and weekday return, in coach class, "summer high season".
  2. 9 NIGHTS' ACCOMMODATION - Standard First Class hotels based on sharing a double or twin-bedded room with private facilities.
  3. OVERNIGHT RAIL TRANSPORTATION - St. Petersburg to Moscow, first class, two-berth compartment.
  4. 12 MEALS: 10 buffet breakfasts and 2 special dinners.
  5. TRANSFERS, SIGHTSEEING, AND PRIVATE LOCAL GUIDES - Included as per itinerary in Paris and in Russia by deluxe, air-conditioned motorcoach. Sightseeing includes admission fees to places visited.
  6. St. Petersburg Marathon, Half Marathon or 10K Registration Entry Fee.
  7. TOUR MANAGER - Kathy Loper will personally escort this exciting tour.
  8. SPECIAL CULTURAL SHOWS - Russian Folklore Show in St. Petersburg and Circus in Moscow.
  9. SERVICE CHARGES AND TAXES - Service charges assessed by the management of the hotels and taxes imposed by national and/or local governments (wherever these charges and/or taxes are normally added to the hotel bills and/or the ground operators' invoices) are included. Except all local airport taxes.

SERVICES NOT INCLUDED:

  • U.S. Departure taxes/immigration fees/custom fees and foreign airport taxes which must go on airline ticket at time of ticketing. Currently $128.00.
  • Fuel surcharges at time of ticketing, currently $110.00.
  • Gratuities to local guides and motorcoach drivers.
  • Items not specifically listed above.
  • Russian Visa fee processing (after tour registration, we will send you a visa kit to process).

PRICES:

Prices are based on current exchange rates, air and supplier contracts, and on the basis of minimum 25 participants. Prices are subject to change.
Air and Land from New York JFK, Share Twin basis $3,480
Single room supplement: $ 980
Departure from Chicago O'Hare add $ 170
Departure from Los Angeles LAX add $ 250

Prices are NET for payment by check, cash, transfer or money order. Credit card payment to KLE can be accepted for a supplement processing fee of 2.5%.

Want to stay longer in Europe?

There is an opportunity to stay longer in either Moscow or Paris on the return, but for only 20% of the total group participants and with restrictions. First come first serve.

Staying longer in Moscow: Requires an air deviation fee of $75.00 and is based on availability of air seats for the desired return flights to the USA.

Staying longer in Paris: Requires an air deviation/stopover fee of $125.00 and is based on availability of air seats for the desired return flight to the USA. 

In both cases, latest return date to USA permitted is 09July2006.
In addition, a service charge of $50.00 per person will apply for any such change.

Additional land arrangements are extra.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE:

$300.00 deposit per person at time of booking, together with completed Tour Registration Form and a copy of your passport photopage.
$500.00 second payment due by February 28, 2006.
Final payment is due by April 15, 2006 (final invoice will be sent out by April 01).

CANCELLATIONS:

If cancellation becomes necessary, monies recoverable from the suppliers will be refunded, less the following administration fee:
$200.00 per person up to 28Feb2006.
$500.00 per person from 01Mar2006 to 16May2006.
$800.00 per person from 17May2006 onwards.
No refund after tour departure.
If a sharing person drops out, he/she is responsible for the resulting single room supplement cost to the remaining room partner, unless a new share person can be found that suits the remaining room partner.

Deviation / Change Fee

Your White Nights Marathon tour package has been developed as a group movement in order to take advantage of specially negotiated prices when traveling as a group. A fee of $100.00 per person will apply per deviation or change from the original program, plus the extra cost of new or changed services. If such changes necessitate cancellation of confirmed air or ground arrangements which are subject to cancellation charges, unrecoverable costs will be added to the change fee (this occurs likely within 60 days of departure and when air tickets and other tour documents have been issued).

Insurance

Optional Travel Protection Plan is available which covers your moneys paid if you must cancel or interrupt your trip for medical reasons.
Must be paid within 14 days of the initial deposit, cannot be added later.
